Capacity building for HEWs in household-health post referral linkage

A Memorandum of Understanding is signed between the 5S foundation Ethiopia project and the Ethiopian Sociology, Social Anthropology and Social Works Association (ESSSWA). The main purpose of the MoU is to promote mutual cooperation between the Social Sciences for Severe Stigmatizing Skin Diseases Foundation Ethiopia (5S Eth) and the Ethiopian Society of Sociologists, Social Workers and Anthropologists (ESSSWA) in the areas of training and capacity building of ESSSWA members and regional chapters, strengthening ESSSWA’s Institutional Board (IRB), supporting ESSSWA’s conference, workshops and knowledge sharing forum activities and other related issues in social science research.......

A Memorandum of Understanding is signed between the 5S foundation Ethiopia project and the National Podoconiosis Action Network (NaPAN). Meeting held with the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia
A meeting to discuss the 5S foundation project in Ethiopia was held with officials of the Ministry of Health on Dec 28, 2020, at the Office of the Ministry of Health. The meeting was attended by Mr. Garedew Yilma, project coordinator of the 5S foundation and Dr. Kibur Engdawork, a postdoctoral research fellow at 5S foundation, and from the Ministry of Health, Mr Taye Letta, Acting Director of Disease Prevention and Control Directorate and Mr. Fikire Siefe, team leader of the National NTD Program.
